Man, you are REALLY good at colouring. What do you use to do this?

Wow... I tried using Gimp to do some colouring... Wow... How do you do it? Do you just go around everything with the "free select tool" or the scissors? But being painstakingly careful to get the lines exact? And how do you get rid of the already shaded in parts? Do you just colour over the shaded parts? Or do you get rid of the shadings before hand (I used the "fuzzy select tool" to select the inside of the whatever then just hit delete, but it looks pretty bad doing it that way, and it sometimes deletes an out line, which screws with the picture...)?

yeah, fuzzy select sucks. no, when i start i duplicate my back ground to multiply the top one, so nothing goes over the line art. than i use the free select tool to go around it, not too neatly, seeing as i already have the multiplied layer, and then fill it however i like. the layers that were blank to begin with go between your 2 duplicated ones. but when you get enough layers, you can start putting your colored ones beneath the colored ones, but over background, that way you can still color, but you don't need to use free select. when at the ones to color over, you put the layers above the duplicated background at the top, but being neat in doing so, so you don't get to much of the outline. than go over with a small black paintbrush on outline, pressing shift to make straight lines. THat's how I do it :D

Lol! Hard out! How'd you learn that? Experimentation, or some other tutorial/ video/ person taught you? I'll try following what you said, not sure how it will turn out though... Probably badly... You could make a cool video for Youtube showing how you do it. I've tried searching it up before, but NO ONE actually explains it! It's all "Me colouring a ????? picture" and the video has a sped up screen recording of them colouring their picture thing. So if you can do that (meaning if you have the software to do it), it would be very interesting to see.

Yeah, that would be sweet. You could also get a screen recording program, like camstudio, or hypercam which might be able to record it better than using a physical camera to record the screen. Have you ever used a screen recording program before? They're pretty cool, but I think getting the resolutions right are pretty hard. The resolution can be TOO large, and end up making the video look REALLY jaggy, which I haven't found out how to fix yet... (what happens is that when you play it normally it looks really jaggy, but in a video editing software you can zoom in, and it becomes really clear! Which means that the picture isn't low quality, but actually a too high resolution to be displayed properly).

Hahaha, yeah.
